Sierra Moonset
Owens Valley, Lone Pine, California
The full moon sets behind the high Sierra Nevada mountains. A clear sky allows for a panorama of some of the highest peaks in California, including Mt. Langley (left edge) and the Keeler needles with Mt. Whitney at 14,494 feet (right of mt. Langley). Light radiadtes over the spring foliage and trees of the Owens Valley.
