Mono Lake, Sunset

Looking away from the setting sun at what appears to be a atomospheric phenomenon (a glory). The wind was moving off the lake strongly as can be seen from the white caps in the water at left, but a large tide pool showed no movement at all. Photo © copyright by Frank LeBlanc.
