Tree and Mt. Rundle
Vermillion Lakes, Banff National Park, Alberta Canada
Frozen conditions near Vermillion Lakes finds a small tree clinging to life, and from the appearance of buds on the upper branches it seems to be thriving. Mount Rundle juts outward, resembling a huge ridge comprised of seperate peaks more than a single mountain. Many of the Canadian rockies form large massifs of joining ridges and peaks.
